"Dr. Guy Knolle's cataract surgery has changed my life. I can now resume normal activities which were curtailed by the development of cataracts in both eyes. This includes driving at night and being able to enjoy the expressions on the faces of family and friends.
My remaining years have never looked so good!"

This photograph illustrates the point that even though, according to the testimonial, Joe is extremely pleased with his visual acuity and depth of field, he still prefers to use magnification for some tasks like reading his sheet music. This music professor is very fastidious about detail and has measured to the inch the distance required for his special purpose glasses.
By way of a personal testimony, I use a slit lamp microscope to examine patients in the office, and I use a microscope in the operating when performing surgery. Occasionally I use a pair of + 1.50 half glasses to view digital photographs on my computer screen for fine pattern discrimination and editing before printing them. Most importantly with my Array multifocal intraocular lenses I can easily see to drive, fly airplanes, use my computer, and read without glasses. I have noticed my depth of field is far superior to the vision I had with my trifocals. In the operating room mydepth of field through the operating microscope is so much improved that my need to refocus while performing surgery has been greatly reduced.
